Why Chertsey homeowners test before they touch
A lot of work in Chertsey starts the same way. Someone pulls up old lino in a kitchen off Guildford Street, or lifts a hatch into the airing cupboard of an interwar semi, and finds a grey board or a textured coating they cannot place. How a sample is taken and tested

A good number of materials come back negative and the work simply carries on as planned, the ceiling gets skimmed or the floor gets lifted with no further fuss.
