This job was the replacement of an asbestos contaminated roof. It was an asbestos contaminated pitched roof with asbestos ridge tiles. Asbestos was widely used in so many roof tiles due to its fantastic thermal qualities and it is extremely fire retardant. This client wanted a roof replacement rather than complete removal. We worked on testing to ensure that asbestos was present before starting the removal service. We then took all the tiles off the roof and made sure we got rid of all asbestos contaminated materials. This was then safely disposed of. This asbestos contaminated roof was then replaced with a steel box profile roof. This looks so much nicer and gives a cleaner and more modern look. The roof is also now asbestos free and safe again. This job was completed in Surbiton in Surrey. You can see the before and after photos of the job. There is a big difference in the look of these photos and the new roof looks so much nicer.
